Inaccurate punching affects aesthetics

To install showers, faucets, sockets, etc., you need to punch holes on the tiles. A good tiler will accurately calculate the size, and even draw the position before punching. If it is missed or the hole is too large, it will affect the appearance.

Pay attention to the slope of the tiles at the floor drain

When installing the floor drain in the toilet, keep the surrounding tiles have a certain slope, otherwise the water cannot flow to the floor drain smoothly, which will easily cause water accumulation.

Generally speaking, the tiles at the floor drain will be treated with a trapezoidal cutting method: the tiles are cut diagonally into four pieces, and the grooves are formed at a certain slope when paving, and the floor drain is embedded in the center.

Check the verticality of the yin and yang angle

The vertical deviation of the yin and yang angle is too large, and there will be gaps when placing furniture and installing cabinets in the future. Therefore, after the tiles are laid, check whether the verticality of the yin and yang angles still meet the standard.

Generally, squares are used to detect the yin and yang angles. If you do not have professional tools, you can also use ceramic tiles to detect on-site materials.

If the wall tiles have stripes or lattice patterns, try to align them when cornering

At the corners of the wall, bricks with patterns such as lattices and stripes must be aligned by the workers, otherwise they will look obvious.

The skirting line is best to use the original skirting line, do not cut with tiles

If it is not the skirting line embedded in the wall, it is best not to cut the large tiles directly into strips as the skirting line in order to save costs. Straightness is a problem, and the exposed cut surface is not beautiful enough. Even if the cut surface is brushed with white paint, the effect is not ideal.

Ignore the jointing

Don't use white cement for tile joints to save money, otherwise the joints of the tiles will easily turn black. Before and after use of the jointing agent:

But if you encounter a mason who is not very responsible, you may use bricks directly to save trouble. This treatment will cause the bricks to be exposed directly, which is not good-looking.

Touch the angle, not really need to touch the 45° angle

The positive angle touches the angle, but it does not really require a 45° angle. The correct touch angle construction cannot really cut the edge of the tile to 45°, but about 30°. Only then can there be a gap between the two tiles to fill the mortar or adhesive.

Can not cut directly to the edge when cutting corners

When the external corner hits the corner, it cannot be cut directly to the edge of the tile, otherwise it will form a sharp edge and cause hidden dangers. Leave a certain distance and have a certain thickness on the edge to ensure the hardness of the edge of the tile and avoid being knocked off.
